The worse airport i have ever been. Security check rude and unpleasant. I was almost late for my flight becouse they wanted me to BUY a fuckin' plastic bag for my only 100 ml perfume. Never again!

The worst airport I have ever been to.
There is one vital problem: you have to wait for boarding standing outdoors, in open area with hevay wind, rain, and cold. It is not a problem only in the winter because it happens aprox.10 month due to polish weather...

Najgorsze lotnisko na swiecie! Nie daj Panie wyladowac jak jest zimno albo leje deszcz. Badz pewien, zmokniesz i zmarzniesz!!! Wole zaplacic dwa razy wiecej za bilet, aby tylko tam nie ladowac!

Shop prices are much too high, than the reasonable level. Everything else ok - it is not a huge intercontinental airport. It just suits the purpose of budget travelling.

My opinion may be a little bit influenced by the day of the departure. Because it was 1st of January the airport was very empty and all the airport services were very smooth and quick.

Small terminal, poor choice of shops (literally: one), but the biggest disadvantage is the way you get into airplane - after passing boarding gate, passangers are being forced to wait outside for about 10-20 minutes, despite of the wateher. In the summer it's too hot, in autumn or winter - one's freezing to death.

The departure lounges were designed as an afterthought. They are crowded, lack sufficient seating, and if there are simultaneous or delayed departures, one has to gain access through another crowded lounge. The architects of this building should have been advised that the airport is for passengers and not accommodation for officials and retailers to spend their working days in.

Warsaw Modlin is used by Ryanair only, at the moment (september 2015). One goes by foot to the exit (after landing, aircraft park in front of the terminal) or to the aircraft for boarding - no shelter : better have a personnel protection if it rains ! Small terminal, well organized but crowded if there are three or four departures at the same time, which can happen.

Well organized cheap airport. Would be perfect if you could get from Warsaw to there fully by train (now you have to switch to the bus) and train could go faster by omitting some of the stops. Better now to have a car and leave on the PA7 parking lot (50PLN/7days). Security check is detailed, but well organized and you don't have to wait in long lines even if there are several planes almost at the same time. Drawback can be waiting outside before you get on the aircraft - in case of bad weather/low temp be prepared for that!

Its a perfect low cost airport. Clean, new, with lots of charging points, free unlimited wifi, benches with no armrests, and big bathrooms. There are no announcments from 11:20pm till 6am. Security never makes any problem. Perfect for people travelling from Gdansk and Wroclaw because they can reach WMI faster and cheaper than capital citizens, due to twice daily Ryanair's connection with prices starting from 2,5?. The only con is private company proceeding security control, they are unprofessional very often, and prices in shops which are way to high.

It's relatively a new airport, however, it's already too small for the amount of passengers. In rush hours it gets very crowded, so you might spend quite a lot of time at the security check queue. There are almost no sockets to charge electronic devices. The amount of chairs also is limited. The airport is designed totally for low-cost airlines.

Small, clean airport. The smallest I've ever been on. Few toilets, seating and dining options. But thanks to not have to look gate and can quickly and efficiently to get around. Access to the city center depending on the selected transport options even within 40 minutes

Quite claustrophobic airport that looks like a temporary container. Only one duty-free shop prorider with sky-high prices as for polish reality. Good, frequent connection with the city centre but better buy tickets online (cheaper, no queues)

Warsaw Modlin is a small airport whose only Customer at the moment (2015) is Ryanair. It's very simple and basic but does the job. It's connected to Warsaw center by a bus (Modlinbus), which can take 40 min to 1 hour depending on the traffic.

Not bad. However terminal building is terrible... The best thing was quick security check. Nice clean toilets. Getting to airport takes some time but it's low cost airlines airport so I'm not complaining.

WMI is cosy low cost airport. It's clean, quite modern but basic. When three flights departs in one time it gets crowded.

Fast check-in and fast security control. Limited number of shops, cafes.

If you get there by car - parking is cheap.

Makes you walk to the plane outside - no shuttle buses, no jetways. When arriving the walk is along the whole terminal building with no cover at all. Bring appropriate clothing.

Facilities at the airport are scarce, but okay.

Upierdliwa nudzaca sie i czepiajaca ochrona. Za malo maja lotow i nie wiedza co z soba czepiaja sie przy odprawie jak rowniez przy podchodzeniu do plotu. Odprawa bardzo drobiazgowa mimo jasnego przekazu i dokladnego rozlozenia bagazu.

The worst food ever! I cannot imagine who can make so awful sandwich or pseudo-italian pasta :-( Getting to this airport is terrible. Getting out from there as well... I hope this airport can suffer some damage soon so Ryanair can come back to the main Warsaw airport

Getting to the airport without any problem thanks ModlinBus. Terminal clean and transparent. The terminal is one restaurant with good food. Check runs without a problem positively oriented staff. The only minus the airport is a little bit of seating.

Too little seats. If you need to charge your phone or something - there are no wall sockets. Oh, yeah - only one in bathroom (very small by the way). Quick security control.
In winter in must be horrible to walk about 170 m from plane to terminal.

Only seems to be used by Ryanair and is very quiet, so no queues. Staff are fine, facilities clean, lacking in shops and restaurants, like most airports expensive.

No restaurants or fast food places nearby either

No major complaints but why this airport was ever built is beyond me especially as the main airport is not exactly busy either

tried to hire a car one way from Bialystok but couldn't

Getting from plane to terminal takes some time, there should be a bus. I had no baggage so when I came to the terminal I get through to shuttle bus. I don't know why it's not free, shuttle bus to railway station should be free. I can't say anything more because I was at the airport only about 5 minutes (10 minutes including getting to the terminal from plane in the course of wich we had to wait in long queue because there was boarding for other plane).

Not a bad low cost airport. Best way to get to and from the airport is by ModlinBus, but make sure you book in advance otherwise tickets are expensive. Free WiFi is a huge bonus. The fact that you have to wait in the open air to get onto an aircraft is very disturbing, especially if it getw really warm or cold as it does so often in Poland, the long walk to passport check can also be off-putting.

Although the airport is small, only Ryanair operates from it, during rush hours there is not much space for travelers, not enough seats to rest on. It isn't hard to get to the airport but it takes time, IMO too much time. A good thing is that the security is rather quick (if there isn't too many passengers)

Very good for a low cost airport. Good connections to the center of Warsaw. The big thing is free wifi with no time limits, which is still rare at other airports. Too many security guys walking around the airport for no reason.

Wielka nedza. Trudno zrozumiec po co zbudowano to lotnisko. Znalazlem sie tam przypadkiem, myslac, ze kupuje bilet z lotem z Okecia. Dojazd tragiczny, zwlaszcza wlasnym samochodem. Podnosi to koszt podrozy. Jest bardzo skromnie. Lepiej nie przyjezdzac za wczesnie bo nie ma co robic. Szokujace wrazenie robi coach service - owszem mozna dojechac do Warszawy. Cena - jak w Londynie. Jednym slowem - porazka.

Not bad for a low-cost airport, free wifi, clean throughout, a bit more seating and restaurants/shops would be nice to see and the prices are just too high. A bottle of water and a chocolate bar turns out to be more expenisve than a plane ticket.

Good bus connection to Warsaw with free WiFi on board, you can book a ride online for just 9 PLN. Nice and clean airport with enough place to sit. Flights are often redirected to other airports like Chopin or Lodz due to fog.

Small, nice and efficient low-cost airport. Although there were 4 lights departing around 6 am, there were no big queques and everything went smooth. The bilding itself lokks much better than Hahn, Charleroi or Luton.

It's a very nice and little airport! There's free Wi-Fi, clean toilets, but there's few chairs to sit on, and maybe it's a Little bit too small
