Immigration hall is too small and crowded, not all customs windows working. Spent 1 hour in customs line, but passed with no problem. Main hall is just beautifuland having good choise in duty free!

Terrible airport: Cannot handle the large numbers of travelers. Limited seating in the airport and long security lines.

The check-in / bag drop-off for KLM was slow and understaffed.
The wifi didn't work in the Marco Polo lounge.

The worst airport I've ever been to. Poor space for travelers, poor check-in facilities, poor food service and poor look over all. I'll try to avoid this airport whenever I can.

Not all airport staff know English (but most do). Immigration police is very unfriendly and barely want to speak with people.

Lack of security, officers do not pay attention to the RTG and checks. Very expensive food. Messy, dirty, as all Italian airports.

It is to small for a big city as Venice. They should build more gates and terminals. The are not enough food services.

Getting to/from the airport is very easy, it is close to Venezia and highways which lead off to Verona, Treviso, Trieste, Bologna, etc. Airport is very large and very modern. When we landed we had to wait in a queue for 30 minutes, which was quite frustrating. Baggage claim was very speedy, conveyor belts were very long so your baggage was almost always exposed. Customs was quick and easy. You can only use wifi for 30 minutes.

Aeroport vieillot ou il vaut mieux etre vaillant tant les places assises sont rares cote landside. En fait, le seul moyen pour s'asseoir est de consommer au seul restaurant de l'aerogare. Pas de possibilites de spotter. Wifi 30 minutes ... apres il faut payer 5? l'heure ou 8? a la journee ! Personnel peut avenant. Cote airside plutot sale. Boutiques Duty free en rapport avec l'importance et la superficie de l'aeroport.

Aeroport qui se fait vieillot.
Avion en porte.
livraison bagage ultra rapide. Moins de 15 minutes apres notre descente de l'avion, nous etions dehors (en prenant le temps d'acheter nos tickets Alilaguna)

La mancanza di collegamenti ferroviari diretti con l'aeroporto costringe chi viaggia a sostenere onerose spese di trasferimento in auto e di parcheggio. Sono in corso lavori di ammodernamento e ampliamento che incidono sui passaggi pedonali. Nonostante la mattina sia un momento di grande affluenza per le partenze, solo la meta dei varchi sicurezza e operativo. Il wifi e solo a pagamento.

The best airport in Italy, is quite small but very comfortable. The design is wonderful and the view during landing and takeoff is amazing! The check-in is fast and personal is competent. I like it very much.

E-Passport couldn't read my passport properly despite the fact my passport is valid! Finally got it to read properly after few attempts! Baggage claim took a while as it is shared by Air Canada flight from Toronto which means lots of Air Canada baggage coming out!

Usually a very good airport, however in summer periods and weekends (due to Cruise liners departures). Airport was very busy, but immigration control and luggage reclaim very quick.
Bar/Cafe are very expensive only coffee is cheap.
Tip: if you fly from Venice try a Aperol or Campari Spritz in 1st floor after security

Venice has been my closer airport for years. It's very easy to arrive from the main highway, usually not too much traffic around. The airport is big enough to accomodate several flights but not too big to get lost. Cafe are available before the security check while after there is a choice of several cafe and place to shop. Wi fi is not free unfortunately.

Getting to and from Venice airport is amazing if you go by boat.Such a unique way to get to your destination. Check-in was very quick and security wasn't bad either. I was surprised by what was on offer airside at Marco Polo, I was expecting a lot less.It all seemed like good quality as well.

Good airport, it seemed quite crowded, but taking on account the amount of travellers heading for Venice i guess there isn't much to do. It is an easy bus ride to Venice Piazza Italia, the furthest place a ground vehicle can go on Venice Island.

It is my home airport so I can't say bad things about it. I think that it's too small for a city like Venice and the traffic is very high. On sundays there is people everywhere so its difficult to go fast to the baggage claim or to the boarding gate. There aren't many jetways so the major part of the air traffic is on parking on the other side of the airport. There are bars, shops and restaurants but the wi-fi service can be used only paying an amount.

The Marco Polo airport is not that big, so it's impossible to get lost. The check-in staff is kind of lost when speaking in English as they didn't quite understand what I was telling them all the time. The terminal looks a bit old because you can see bricks in towers and the main building itself, however the inside is renovated. Boarding was fast and you can have a nice view on the runways from the lounge.
There is wifi on the airport, however you have to pay to use it, unless you browse the airport site.

Small provincial airport for such a famous city. Getting there is interesting by water. Facilities are not so many, and many other are being repaired. No wi fi. Not so many places to eat. Immigration /customs staff make passengers get through in line, which is not convenient.

Fur die vielen Touristen viel zu kleiner Flughafen. Unubersichtlich, schlechte Fuhrung durch Piktogramme. Sehr wenige direkte Gates in der Regel mit dem Flugzeug immer die Au?enposition. Die Wartezeit auf das Gepack ist noch akzeptabel.

Marco Polo airport is small and definitely not what one would expect coming to a fairly large and much visited city. I suppose its just a place to get on board! Always long lines, not very appealing as other modern airports. It gets you there but that's about all. I prefer Trieste airport Ronchi.
