I like Haneda airport. It's fairly easy to get to by train from downtown Tokyo and check in has always been quick and painless. The lounge is good but not great.Good selection of shops selling the usual high ends goods as well as Japanese souvernirs

Easy access to the airport on the subway. The observation deck is amazing. Check in quick and easy. Very friendly staff. Security and immigration was fast as was the Duty Free check. Nice restaurant overlooking the departures hall. WiFi free and easy to access.

Though I really love Haneda International Terminal, it gets terrible when taking a late flight. Most restaurants and shops closed before 10 p.m. and the only lounge (I know) with shower closed at 1 a.m.

Very efficient and clean Airport but

1) Need to walk for a long distance from arrival to immigration and baggage claim (Travelators are there but still it is a long walk).
2) Shower facility (Paid / free) not available which was a bummer.
3) Was hard to find eating places :(

Easy access from Downtown Tokyo - much better than the long trip to Narita International.

Nice and modern airport - large convenient, but somewhat crowded business lounges.

Customs were a breeze and very thorough. Airport facilities were clean and free of any waste. The only trash cans are found in restrooms just as a note.

Haneda is a great airport. Small, easy walk from plane to baggage, through immigration/customs, and to a cab. Great location to Tokyo, easy train into Tokyo Station, short distance compared to Narita. A better choice when flying to Tokyo.

Friendly staffs and immigration officers,always smile on their face,really impressive!

Loved the ambience of the 787, large windows, and touch free toilets. Was slightly disappointed with the noise levels within the aircraft cabin. As usual with JAL, the cabin service was efficient and friendly. Haneda Airport is much more convenient to reach than Narita Airport.

This apt. is mainly domestic operation, but increasing int'l as well. Int'l terminal has expanded due to improve air traffic last year.It takes approx.30min.from central Tokyo, I recommend if you gonna to Narita apt., Keikyu-line is recommended.

Haneda Airport's duty free stores had extremely long queues which made buying them a race against time when you do not want to miss your flight. In addition, the airport also had adequate F and B choices but I would say that the airport seems small for current capacity.

When arriving on Haneda International Terminal, we need to consider a 20 minutes shuttle to get to the Domestic Terminal. I arrived from France and I needed to get my luggage and re-check it in again.

Excellent service arrived at airport by monorail,good lounge and japanese courtesy like always.
You get off from monorail just short walk and you are direct inside the airport.
Ana lounge is very big and comfortable.

The new international terminal is more than perfect, with great accessibility from the city, esp. monorail platform directly linked to the departure floor. Terminal building is perfectly clean, new, and even modern. ANA lounge is flawless, with its great food selection and view for the airplanes.

I used it as transit airport from domestic to international. Bus connection between the two terminals. No check-in or security check procedures (being in transit). Very quick immigration. Clear orientation.

New international terminal is excellent. Good accessibility only minutes from the city centre as compared to Narita so this will definitely be my choice for future flights into and out of Tokyo. Also means cheaper train rides into town. Japanese-style food street above the check-in counters and shops provide ample opportunities to stock up on last-minute souvenirs and goodies, while avgeeks can head to the observatory for aircraft spotting.

Tokyo Haneda airport has two domestic and one international terminals. JAL is on the Domentic Terminal One and ANA is on the Domestic Terminal Two. You need to take a shuttle from either domestic terminal to the International Terminal. The airport has four runways and open 24 hours, though the domestic terminal will close during 11pm-5am JST.

Beautiful! Was super excited to see the international terminal for the first time. Lots of natural light and beautiful architecture. Lots of conveniences and shops to look around, as well as an excellent outdoor roof deck for airplane spotting!!!

Difficult to get to for early morning flights (had to pay for a really expensive taxi) but decent airport overall and location is convenient if you aren't trying to get there outside of subway hours
