Very boring and small airport. There is nothing you can do to entertain yourself. Also if you are waiting for your night flight after midnight be prepared that nothing will work until around 7AM. The only good thing I could mention is the WiFi connection.

Thessaloniki airport could be better and bigger because is a to smal airport for Thessaloniki, getting to the airport is easy and you can find a lot of TAXIs or you can take the line bus to go ,the security check was slow and some passengers was complaining that they will may lose their boarding , I was wetting 20 minutes least to pass the security check because they had only thre check dors tow for normal passengers and one for fast pass oassengers , but the check was efficient and fast when it was my turn ! The terminal facilities are so pure but they have an free Wi-Fi for an houre which you can connect to it easy and fast !
Food and retail services was good but not a lot of shops only one good coffee shop in the airport , looking SKG flights I spot that they are some interesting flights from and to this airport ! The check-in was fast (10 minutes total) . The baggage claim was near the plane not so fare and the baggages arived fast .

Poor airport. Checking in baggage is a nightmare. PAssing security also. Plan at least 1.5 hours ahead.

Small airport, in need of improvements. It is organized a little bit better than the past but there is no space. Big queues. It was very clean at least and flights on time.

I totally understand that the city of Thessaloniki does not need a huge airport, but I somehow expected more of it. It is just a regular airport and I feel like I am going to forget it sooner or later. But the service was okay.

Getting to the airport is cheap (2 euro for bus) but it was full and there were two secuirity guys that seemed like they were night bodyguards.
Check in terrible!!! I had to wait 20 minutes in the check in lane. I was lucky because there were not many people flying.Then I had to get my checked bag to the control. I spent there 40 minutes. And then the control more 30 minutes. It is a small airport. During the rush hour it is not working so well. Toilets were clean! There is also a small but nice DUTY FREE shop. But for food only one place that I wait more 15minutes to get a sandwich and water. They have at least free but slow wifi connection (I think for one hour).

i am always annoyed by the way i am being trated at this airport. even for the internal flights (Thess-Athens) they are asking for my Greek visa! I do not understand the logic. Nobody is checking my passport if i travel within Greece by car or by boat!

It's not very modern. It's very far from the city and there are very few ways to get there. Expensive restaurants, poor facilities and dirty toilets. Also WiFi is not connecting and check-in and security check services are poor and slow.

It is a good airport with free Wi-fi connection so you can check your e-mail whenever you want while waiting your flight. It has cheap bus connection which it makes it easy for you getting to the airport but Duty Free is quite small. I believe that security check was not as good as i expected as the check- in which was unsatisfactory. Instead of taking my ticket from the office of the airline i flew i took it from a machine.

Very clean toilets, free Wifi, cheap bus, cheap water (0.35), coffee less than 1 euro, small but Nice Duty Free.
Fast check, overcrowded in Summer time, small airport, nothing in the non - schengen zone, some Gates with no working screens.

Cheap bus connection to the city. It is quite small especially the departure zone. I managed to spend a few hours during the night here. I spotted some homeless here. Toilets were quite dirty, but there was nice wifi.
