Stuttgart airport is very easy to reach and go around. The three terminals are all linked to each other on foot.
However, the check in process is rather chaotic (Germanwings) with no check-in desks avalaiable. You should print your boarding pass at the self service kiosk before dropping off your bag. However, if you go straight to the bag drop desk, they will check you in with no problems.
Security was chaotic too, with a metal detector working seemingly by chance. Every passenger had to be inspected even if no metal was there. Facilities are quite good, but the lack of free WiFi is appalling.
All in all an average airport.

Stuttgart ist ein schoner Flughafen mit seiner Einzigartigen Architektur.. Es gibt ausreichent check-in schalter nur bei dem Sicherheits check konnte man noch ein paar mehr schlater gebrauchen. Das Vorgesehene Gate ist bei einem A320 wenn er voll ist auch gut Belegt und man findet keinen Sitztplat. Da die Gates aber offen sind kann man sich zu einem Anderen Flug setzten und warten

Security check is a catastrophe!
Long waiting queues spanning through the terminal, missed my flight thanks to that (but fortunately rebooked to the next one from the airline).
Next time the security check personell is taking industial action, they first should consider whether they weren't already overpaid with minimum wage.

I never saw before such a long queue of people trying to pass through security. There are now 3 active terminals in Stuttgart, all the 3 had a queue longer than 40 minutes. Information panels were updated (although with some delay) and there was no apparent reason for it. It was just unbearably slow.

Check In super schnell bei kleineren Airlines wie SAS oder SWISS. Bei Germanwings und Air Berlin Riesen schlage schon fruh morgens. Monitore die uber die Wartezeit beim Security Check informierten. Kein kostenloses WiFi. Ausreichend Sitzplatze an den Gates.

Pa denna flygplatsen ar det jatteproblem om man behover sitta och arbeta med dator och samtidigt behover tillgang till ett vagguttag for laddaren. Pa hela flygplatsen finns endast ett enda vagguttag dar det samtidigt finns bord.

Good facilities and one of the best airports for viewing (especially if you've enough time to go up to the spectator balcony before going through security)
