Once you get off your plane it?s an easy walk to the baggage claim, and your bags get their very quickly.

Parts of the airport are under construction, but it should be nice once finished. New seats have USB and electric plugs in each seat. No more wondering the airport for that last remaining wall outlet

Small airport, but that's nice sometimes because there's less of a crowd, and it contributes to an overall calmer atmosphere. The downside of that, however, includes waiting 45 minutes in line at the one and only Starbucks kiosk and dealing with an accordingly smaller airport staff - in other words, days that ARE crowded are a real pain at SAN airport. Overall pleasant for a small airport.

I flew out of terminal 2 west in late April. The terminal is fantastic and has a bunch of great shops and restaurants that you can spend your time at. The terminal even has free WiFi that was unfortunately not working for my iPhone. The terminal is bright with tons of natural light and even a really cool led light sculpture. It is also great for plane spotting with all of the huge windows and great views of the operations. Make sure to plane ahead as you have to go to the end of the pier to get the best views.

New United Terminal at SAN is Amazing! Have been to a ton of United Clubs and this is by far the best. Additionally the restaurants / retail / art etc in the terminal is a ten of ten. Highly recommend going out of your way to check SAN out!

San Diego International is a fairly nice airport. They are going through some renovations in the terminal at the moment and so restrooms are a bit difficult to locate. However, overall the airport was great.

Having free WiFi was a great place so that I could post all of my photos and the seats at the U.S. Airways were fairly comfortable and they had power which was a plus as well.

Getting to the airport was a bit confusing with the iPhone as it wasn't very clear about where you were going and how to get to the Terminal and the signs weren't very clear either.
