Very nice airport, clean and modern. Lot?s of shopping places, even a small supermarket. Erste Lounge is also a nice place to spend time during the next flight.

Prague airport looks nice, clean, and modern. Two terminals, easy to transit, Erste Lounge is very nice and charming. Long queues for the passport control but also there are e-gatesc.

The Prague airport is overall a good airport. Security is fast, people are nice, etc. Make sure not to withdraw money out of the ATMs there, most charge an insane conversion rate.
Duty free shops are a bit overpriced though.

1 star down because the waiting time for baggage claim is very long... Otherwise very clean and modern airport. Hope there will be another option to get to the airport by public transport (now only by buses...)

To get from the airport to the city center \ or any other place near or in prague, you can take a taxi, or a shuttle that would cost you about 20Euro, you don't have to pay for luggage, the shuttles are good, but there is a problem when the dispatcher don't say to the drivers how much luggage will be, so they can give you a small car. The shuttles are waiting for you in the airport with signs with your name that you wrote.
When you arrive to the airport, if you are going to the terminal by the jetway, you have full access to the duty-free stores, but I am not sure if you can buy there something.
There is good free wifi in the whole area of the airport terminals.
The customs was pretty fast, but(THERE IS A BUT!), The immigration process was slow, with long queues, the police officers that check your passport, the most of them don't know English. Every booth was for 2 lanes, that's really annoying.
Baggage claim, was pretty fast.

Erste Premier Lounge is terrible, so many people here are loud. They allow kids inside. Staff does nothing about it.

No railway to the airport, you have to use bus or taxi. Airport can handle people quite effectively, no long queues. Restautants offer good food, although overpriced. Airport itself is organised and well arranged.

New extra fee for taxi drivers to get to the airport? There are homeless people in the hall and police walking around does nothing about it. Prague airport is getting worse.

Security is done at the gate in this airport, this means that you need to go to the gate with plenty of time to clear the security. It also means that if you buy any liquids or drinks at Duty Free, they must be in a sealed bag, so if you have bought a bottle of water.....good luck

Getting to the airport is very good: you can access by bus 100,119 and 191 from city center. Check-in is not practical because you have to go to the automated check in so not practical with 4 luggages. Security check is modern and fast. WiFi works and is unlimited. Lounge is medium: there isn't a lot of food. If you enter the lounge go to the left side of the lounge.

Do not ever spend a penny in shops at this airport. The prices are absurd! Beer 4x more expensive than in the city, chocolate 3x, etc. I'm ashamed to be czech...

The biggest advantage of this airport is how fast and smooth everything goes. You can get from the entrance to the gate under 10 minutes, as there are no queues anywhere.
Getting to the airport, however, is a whole other story - all the reliable taxi companies (and Uber) are forced to pay 4? for each entry to the airport. I guess this is a measure to protect the taxi mafia called official taxi. Public transport is not a good option when you are in a hurry, because the airport is only served by buses, which are often very crowded.
Everything at the airport is awfully overpriced. Anyway, I'm still giving it 4 stars, because after your first visit you already know what to do and what to avoid, and the fast security and passport check are a huge advantage.

Didn't have much time, we arrived at the airport about 50 minutes before the scheduled departure. The check-in went very well, was quick and the agent was nice. The security check is also very nice at PRG, so that went well and fast aswell. Overall nice experience, giving the Vaclav Havel airport maximum - 5 stars.

Close to the city. No train service all the way to the airport - bus transfer is required - but travel remains easy, this is a minor issue.

Airport is not too big so is quick and easy to get around. Good range of shops.

The major downside at this airport is security at the gate. On a recent flight I went to the gate as soon as the gate number was announced, and waited in line so long that the flight status went from gate open - boarding - last call before I could complete security. I made the flight but most of the overhead bins were full by then and I had to stow my bag at the back of the plane (requiring me to wait to retrieve it after arrival). The problem is that a block of gates has one security channel, and more than one flight was departing at around the same time, so the security channel I had to use was very busy.

Late night departures from PRG are a delight, since the bus service from Zlicin or Nadrazi Veleslavin is still pretty frequent, yet the airport feels quite empty and it's normal to make it from bus to T2 airside in under three minutes.

Bad experience with the security check. I have a transparent plastic bag from RIMOWA that was full of liquid packaging all with less of 100ml, and the total was less that 1l. A woman bring a small plastic bag with 22x15cm and asked me to put my toiletries in, which was completely impossible. Although I know the rules, in particular that the total of liquids can not exceed 1 Litter, I questioned the attitude, without any success, having to leave part of the products. The attitude of the crew on duty was rude and lacking in manners, they did not asked me they gave orders, and they treated me as if I were a potential criminal. Since I'm going to the Czech Republic quite often, I have to try an alternative to this airport.

We got a taxi from our hotel in Prague to the airport. The taxi driver was very friendly. We'd checked-in online before we went. There's no security until you get to the boarding gate, which was weird for us. We're used to security being straight past the check-in area.

Immigration was quick and easy. We didn't take a hold bag so didn't need to wait for baggage reclaim, however we did go past on our way out to the taxi and the queue didn't seem too bad at all.

PRG is my home airport and I really like it. There's always room for improvement but I believe that the level of services is good. Prices of refreshments are a bit steep, though.

The non-Schengen Terminal 1 is older, but actually quite nicely updated. The 119 bus now runs every couple of minutes and drops off just in front of the terminal building, so that's a breeze. Airside access is made much more convenient by passport e-gates, whereas security checkpoints are at the gate, which may be constraining. Still, the overall experience is swift and comfortable.

Very inconvenient set up of security control. It is located just prior the boarding gate, after shopping / coffee area. They have collected from me ...hot tea, bough at the coffee shop 20 meters away, because ...liquids are prohibited (!).

Good connection from the airport to the center of the city. Bus 100 takes you to the metro station which goes right there. buy bus ticket at the counter before going to the bus. 32 krones

Prague is my home airport and I think it's really good, one of the best ones in Europe. Fast check-in, great (not perfect) Wi-Fi and good Erste Lounge (again - not perfect). I hope I will fly again from or to Prague :-)

Prague is generally a delight to travel through and makes quite an effort long-term to improve and innovate. If you check in online, it's not uncommon to get from your bus/taxi to the airside in under five minutes, including security. The airport now guarantees bottled water for ?1 and has vastly improved dining options for all budgets, but it can be still tricky to get something to eat in the concourses, outside the central area.

long queue at check-in and no separate stand for luggage dropoff. the security check is right before the gate, so you need separate drinks for the time in the terminal and for the flight. btw i wanted to try kofola but struggled to find it :( i did see it in one place but then looked for it in vain.
to be fair i had an independent connection and had no problems with getting the luggage and checking it in for my next flight, with 2 hours between the flights.

Getting to the airport sucks - no direct train, so you have to switch from metro to crowded bus. The check-in took almost 1 hour and 30 minutes, so arrive early if flying with Czech airlines, especially during lunch time. The good shops are before the security, then it is crazily overpriced - beer is 3-4x more expensive than in nice restaurants in the city center. Extremely high prices for ordinary services. I prefer Vienna airport way more.

Nice and clean airport with reasonable number of food stores and other attractions (plane spotting terrace, aviation documentary movie for free, etc). The connection to city center is pretty good as well (the only issue of public transportation is that a lot of info is only in Czech). Prague was the first international airport I've visited and I like to return here every time.

Even if airline knew (and informed passengers) the flight will be delayed three hours, the original time was written on the airport screens all the time without any other information. The boarding was messy, nobody took care about priority/non-priority, not talking about childs. Then we had to wait loaded in super cold windy bus with open doors while the driver went into the terminal to warm himself and chat (no paperwork!) with gate staff. Then the bus stopped next to the plane and after some time of waiting, only first doors were open, so everybody had to use them.
I can understand whatever, but if there is delay or an yother specific situation, staff should ensure everybody (or majority) of passengers (customers) feel comfortable and not make things even worse.
So usually, I rate with 4-5 stars, but today, it was nothing else than faux-pas, just a fail.

A good airport, easily reachable from the downtown by busses (32 CZK, i.e. slightly more than 1 Euro) or taxi (about 400 CZK from the city centre). It is a pity there are a few restaurants there and the prices are just crazy. It often takes very long until baggage is uncharged.

Lovely airport,easy to get to,check in was fast and easy,security is at the actual gate as was super fast,plenty of duty free shops,the free wi fi was fast and reliable,I was flying BA and that was the only 'hitch' boarding was the usual fiasco,but Prague airport is really good,i enjoyed by transit through here.

Wifi service is one of the best in Europe! Airport is perfectly clean, not overcrowded, with some good restaurants.. What I don't like is that many cafes opens at 6:00am what is too late for early flights.

THis time I have been really satisfied at PRG. Except for very long queue at the check-in, everything else was a breeze. The retails are still crazy overpticed, so I suggest to skip them, but otherwise the electronic passport check was a very nice surprise for me and I really liked the speed of this...
