la nuova tratta BGY_ SEN e viceversa e bella per chi va e viene da Londra: Con il treno da Stradfort in 45 minuti. e sie gia in aeroporto dove vi sono 15/20 voli gg. Bar e risporanti cisono ma carucci. Spero provvisori i gates di imbarco per Ryanair: e un corridoio e non si capisce perchei vwetri sono in basso e non permettono di vedere la pista ed i veivoli.

Airport is currently expanding enormously as London Southend, however lines at both check-in and security are becoming absurd. Do not like that you have to sign up for an account or by using fb to enter for wifi (wasnt like that before) and it does not offer much except a restaurant/pub, coffeeshop and some shops.

Quick clearing security as two lanes were open during the first lot of departures in the morning. Shame about that trains do not run to be at the airport in time for early morning departures. There are sufficient number of shops and food retail for an airport of its size.

Cleared customs quickly as all desks were staffed. Didn't have to wait long to get a taxi home following my delayed flight. Shame the trains timetable don't run at the time of later arrivals at night. Convenient as it didn't take long to get home. Great everything considered.

The customs desks were fully staffed on arrival the que moved quickly and the staff were polite and professional .For passengers wishing to use the train on arrival at night its worth checking if the trains are still running. There are taxis and coach to Rayleigh, Chelmsford and Stansted.

Short walk from the airport railway station to the terminal. Shame the railway timetable is no good for early morning departures or late night arrivals. Cleared security quickly for my departure. The terminal is not large there is sufficient number of shops for an airport its size. I enjoy the convenience of flying from my local airport.

My first time at Southend was perfectly OK, except for a somewhat longer immigration queue. All in all, arrival took about 25 minutes. The good part is the immediate availability of train services ? the station is right across from the terminal buildings and trains are frequent throughout the day. A trip to Liverpool Street takes under an hour, which is faster than Stansted Express on some days.

Don't try and arrive by train if your flight is a 6.30 AM departure. Cleared security quickly. There are enough shops for an airport its size. There are a few places to get something to eat. If your flight is early you won't be able to buy a daily newspaper as they don't arrive in time.

This is a small airport. Cleared Customs in around fifteen minutes. There is a car hire company, plenty of car parking spaces, coach stop and railway station. Passengers can travel on trains to London and Southend from the railway station. There is a coach service to Stansted Airport that goes via Rayleigh and Chelmsford.

Very few flights meant that check in was very easy, the security was quick to get through. There wasn't many facilities but there was a pub serving alcohol and food and also a WH Smiths and a currency exchange booth. All gates in one place and quick and easy boarding.

London Southend Airport is able to be reached by taxi, bus or train. Check-in is quite quick as EasyJet uses it as drop-off only and security checks do definitely need some improvement. Too crowded at periods of times. Wifi is ok, not a lot of food or retail possibilities.

Long queue to clear Customs on arrival as only two desks were being used and another flight arrived not long before my flight arrived. All told it took over twenty minutes to clear security. I have reservations over ability to cope if there is an increase in passenger numbers.
Convenient for getting train for passengers wishing to travel to London.

No trains if you have to arrive for a 6.30 AM departure. Overall quite like the airport as it is my nearest airport its compact size. My family are regular passengers who use this airport a lot. I arrived two hours before before the departure as my flight was the first departure of the day but both the check in desks and the and security were not open. The member staff at security checking boarding passes was friendly. Please note newspapers don?t arrive at the branch of WH Smith in time if you have 6.30 AM departure. Only the restaurant was open once I had cleared security a little while latter the three other shops opened. Boarding was reasonably prompt.

Travel to airport is well thought and fast via Liverpool Street station. Wi-fi is terrible, slow and unreliable, there was only 1 counter open for check-in, so wait was quite longer than usual. Other than that, pretty little airport, would recommend anyway!

A good small airport, sadly with security staff who are usually unhelpful and rule-bound. Oh well.

FlyBe has a Sunday flight leaving at 07:45 - and sadly there are no trains leaving London which arrive in time. Not very well thought out.

Excellent airport. Fast and efficient with short queues at security. The new bar airside looks great and is a very useful addition to the facilities. A far more pleasant experience than travelling through Stansted.

I didn't expect anything from this small airport, but wow, what a nice airport! nice service and nice view on the airplanes!
I didn't had a the right boardingpass so I asked the lady at the FlyBe servicedesk to print a new one for me, no problem and my suitcase was a littlebit too big and also that was no problem at all :)

Quick connection from London Liverpool Street. The terminal is convenient and clean. Security much quicker and friendlier than at e.g. Stansted. WiFi worked well, but unfortunately not everywhere in the terminal.

Excellent airport. No queues, clean and well organised. The extended departure lounge is a vast improvement. The airport provided a pleasant, stress free airport experience. The Stobart Group have created an excellent regional airport which I hope to use many times again in the future.

Excellent experience. Security took less than 5 minutes and staff were excellent, despite the early hour! The airport was calm, very clean and the extension to the departure lounge offers plenty of space and seating. Boarding was swift and civilised. Could not recommend more highly - an unrivaled experience, surpassing even that of London City.

This is really a wonderful little airport. It is far more convenient than the other London Airport's. The new railway station is a superb facility. I can't wait to travel through here again, especially once the new terminal is open.
