Very busy airport but very clean and well organised.Turkish airlines special lounge which is selected the world's best lounge in 2015 is in this airport. This lounge is even biger than many airports in Europe.

Best airport! Well done to Istanbul, the WiFi pass I got from the Turkish Airlines management desk and the security is nice. I had to get a trolly from outside and he let me in with just a quick check. The trolleys are free. You just need 1 Lira or euro then the trolly man will give it back to you when you give him the trolly. The check in is very simple and I had no trouble with it.

Really nice airport, check in was quick, although had to ask a couple of times how to get there. The women on the desk was quite unhappy and miserable.

Very good facilities in the airport, plenty to do, time went fast, great range of things to do/places to eat.

Security was very quick especially for the airport. big line but moved very fast.

Everything was just excellent! Airport has greate conection with istanbul by subway, its just 40 minutes away from the city center. One of the best airports in the world in my opinion. Hope, it'll have free wi-fi one day.

Too crowded also Wings Prime Class wifi's so slow but you can use TTNET Wifi if even so you are a TTNET costumer.

Istanbul ataturk is a great airport. Great train links to istanbul city and great road connections. Even though it is a very busy airport they cope very well with the large amount of passengers. Passport control is quick and efficient. Baggage reclaim could do with som screens to tell you witch belt to go to. There are plenty of shops and bars in the departure lounge and lots of seating.

Istanbul airport is a beast airport in the world.Turkish airways inside environment is very relax able. the crew staff is very good. refreshment is not good but we suggest to Turkish airways service center please take action about refreshment matter. at last travel of Turkish airways is peace full for other airlines.I PROUD TO BE A PAKISTAN.

Brand new terminal. Good architecture. Enough following signs. Terminal - Car Park pathway is useless. You need to go 2 floors up then 3 floors down.
Car rental facilities are perfect. Access to train perfect.

Wow - clean, organized and vastly improved in the five years since the last time I connected through. The TK lounge is huge and totally off the charts. Lots of little 'stations' where you can sample Turkish cuisine, wines, desserts, etc. of which most are prepared on the spot. Lots of entertainment options from golf putting to slot car racing to video games to movie theatre - I couldn't take it all in during the two hours I had there. Nice shower/spa facilities too. Oh, and lots of welcoming / friendly staff about to ensure you're well attended to. Definitely worth booking a long connection or flying a bit out-of-the-way to enjoy.

Baggage delivery from our flight was parted into several parts. One container from our flight then baggage from a different flight, one more our container then another full flight. The handling agent could't explain the reason of such action. So we had to wait for our bags for more than 1 hour

Big airport with quiet bad ventilation. Not really satisfied as of it was clearly hard to breath. Talking about the area close to Victoria's Secrets shop.

Ataturk Aiport is huge, don't try last minute arrival, especially if you're not familiar with it. Airport has bus (shuttle) and metro connection. Elevators are working, security check-in (to enter the terminal) can take too long (only 2 gates).

Nice airport with a global atmosphere and good bars and shops. Despite this, wifi is hard to get to work, indications could be more clear and it is really really crowded, even at off-peak hours.

Very crowded. Domestic terminal looks rly poorly and messy, like bus stop not airport. International part is much better but still far away from perfect. THY departures in 100% have priority so even for baggage drop gate other flights wait too long!

No free Wi-Fi, slow passport control, multiple security checks. Multiple passport controls - one just before boarding. Even in early hours when the airport was mostly empty we sped nearly 30 minutes in different lines.

My first time flying from Turkey, a brief security check before check-in, then passport control, then the standard security check, and finally another brief check at the gate. Quite a faff, but all went well. Big queues for bag-drop desks and food and drink is very expensive all over the airport.

Flight was delayed due to Bad Weather at Cape Town by bout seven Hours. Turkish Airlines gave us a voucher for food etc, but very little outlets around at 0300 hrs

Due to long transit, I spent whole night in this airport. Initially I thought it would be boring, but it actually it was fantastic. The only issue I faced was, the free internet connection was for limited hours, then I could NOT even buy for extra hours!

Quite not bad airport. There is a lot of places to eat, shops, duty free. But there was a lot of people so it was a bit crowdy. Maybe I was in sort of rush hour.

No free wifi. Terrible. Also the food is quite expensive. There is a phone charging machine, you have to pay to charge the phone. However, just around the corner there are Usb sockets for free! Otherwise, no major problem.

Istanbul traffic is hell, so getting to the airport by car can be hard. Better to use bus or metro if possible. Security checks at the entrance of the terminal sometimes create long queues.
