The worst airport I have ever seen. Immigration check was a horrible experience. Unorganized infrastructure made finding directions a nightmare. Everything is worse in MAA.

The airport bathrooms have a below par design and the immigration arrival counters are pathetic with a chaotic baggage collection belt and lacklustre customs. The airport staff are however very kind and helpful and made the experience a bit easier.

Absolutely poor, utter shambles. Getting into the airport itself required half an hour of queuing. Any other airport in the world would have finished from reaching the airport to the gate in a maximum of 30 minutes. This one took me an hour and a half!

One of the busiest airport the new international departure is good and crowded at the entrance, the information regarding the arrivals and departures are up to time provided, you have easily accessible currency conversion counters and you get 30 mins free wifi inside the airport.

Try getting to the airport early. Traffic is a major problem in getting to the airport. The security check is a nightmare. They just have a single row and if your on the last minute to catch the flight then your in trouble.

Nice airport, international and domestic terminals are separated by a 15 minute walk. N o WiFi, but all other amenities and good restaurants are there.Food is cheap compared to other airports and is really good.

Newish airport, but let down by systems that are not working. It took 45 minutes of queuing to get through immigration and security, no separate line for Business/First. Had people fainting, people pushing in, in summary a pain.

the very easiest and dumb international airport in India.no wifi services. no restaurants. poor air conditioning.poor security check.worst ever departure lounge.it is very clear to cross indian borders from any other cities of india rather choosing chennai.i ve been in 2008 and after 6 years it s still the same no major changes noticed

Went to Tuticorin (TCR)-India 2weeks back. Is not in Flightdiaries-database :(. One of the smallest airports with scheduled flights, I've ever been.

Very unfriendly staff, Toilets are beyond any standards and the restaurants (maybe 2) are by far the worst I've ever seen. The Airport is old and its hard to get there.
