Getting in the airport cars are not very good. Skodas are not very good, but SEAT's minivans are better. Check-in Is for 4, because, my baggage don't registers, also, in Aeroflot desks queue passes quickly. In security check there are big queues, but it passes quickly. Terminal facilities are perfect (T1), a big choice or Duty Free. There Is no Free Wi-Fi, to compare, in SVO it is well and free. Food is also perfect. But in boarding the personnel is very slow

Even at night, getting to the airport is still bearable. We reserved a taxi for the night and we got there without any problems. If you're keen on public transport, there's a night bus departing from Placa Catalunya.

Do not make the mistake of going direct to passport control after security check - the shopping area is down the escalator and first timers may make the mistake of going to passport control right away ... once cleared, you cannot return to do shopping. I wonder how much potential business has been lost because of the poor directions after security.

Airport is improving and you can now walk from MO to M5. Lounge facilities not easy to find but a warm welcome and a range of light snacks, salads and sandwich available. There is plenty of shops and food outlets available with good views of the airfield.

Modern and clean airport. Within 30 minutes you are at the airport from the city center. The signs are clear and there are almost no waitinglines at the security check. The airport itself is equipped good and the building is built very spacious.

El Prat airport is fine, nothing special. Free shuttle bus between terminals. Only you have to find it where it stops. On flights from Europe there ios no passport check on arriving.

El Aeropuerto de Barcelona es uno de mis preferidos. La T2 es comoda y con todo tipo de servicios. La T1 es impresionante, un gran diseno, comodo y practico. Buenos restaurantes y cafeteria. Personal correcto.
Lo malo del Aeropuerto del Prat es que no esta bien comunicado con la ciudad. Solo una linea de tren desde la T2 y el resto en autobus o taxis. Deberian acabar de enlazar las terminales con el metro!

All good but why no smoking area after checkin on T2?
Anyway good airport. great connection to the city: over priced areobus evry 5min but alslo usual citybus 46 for 'cents' which goes same way to Placa Espanya. SO tip if somebody purchased BCN unlimited 2-3-4or 5days ticket: go 46 to Pl Espanya and jump to the metro. You save ?6. Wi-Fi poor and 15mins only for free which is ridiculous on such a big and important airport as BCN. But nice and friendly sercurity crew and many shops and restaurants.

The Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB) public bus line 46 runs from Placa Espanya . A scheduled private bus line (Aerobus) from Placa Catalunya , stops at Urgell and Placa d'Espanya. Taxi stops are available at each terminal. The C-32B highway connects the airport to a main traffic interchange between Barcelona's Ronda de Dalt beltway and major motorways.

BusPlana Official Transfer from Barcelona Airport to Costa Dorada ( Salou , Cambrils , La Pineda , PortAventura , Tarragona , Reus ...), the bus stop is in Terminal 1.

There is provision for parking cars at the airport, with about 24,000 parking spaces.

Big and nice area but without free wifi (You can get 15min free wifi). Lots of clothes and high society shops and also lots of cafes and restaurant. Be aware that transfering by foot can take a quite long time from some more far away gates. Also T2 and T1 (terminals) are 10 min by bus away.

Barcelona's Terminal 1 can be huge and intimidating, but generally works quite well. Now that the airport is connected to the city by metro, the whole arrival to the airport was a breeze. More importantly, night buses also work well, so a middle-of-the-night arrival is not a big deal.

Terminal 2 review (lowcost carrier...) : even it is a old building it's great inside with many shops, very clean as well. The shuttle between terminal is very efficient. I just went to terminal 1 to get some views to runways action from the parking rooftop, it looks also very nice.
Really enjoyed my stopover there and into the city (7h long stopover), Aerobus to the city centre is a good point. However the terminal is so huge that you must walk throught the boarding gates, etc... joining Aena's free wifi is really annoying as well : same problem in every Spanish airports.

very long waiting queues at the passport verification. for the EU queue, only one person was verifying the documents. resulted in a long delay at the exit of the airport. the airport is large, connection to the railway station from terminal 1 is done via a bus

Getting to the airport via the Aerobus system is great! Free wifi and very clean bus, The luggage check-in and security were very slow, I think they did like 1 bag per 10 minutes. The facilities and shops are great. lot of shops to see if you have a long layover for instance.

At the airport we were cold. It's summer, there was about 25 degree outside and they turn on the air conditioning (to really cold!) in the lounge. I didn't take wintercoat with myself to Barcelona at summer but pretty sure, it would have been needed.

(T1) When you get off the plane by the finger you are immediately mixed with all the other passengers in the terminal, and if you don't hurry up for your luggage, etc. you can stop at shops or restaurants.

The worst thing of this airport is the shuttle bus between Terminal 1 and the train station. Even though there's one every 5 minutes, it always gets very crowded and uncomfortable. Furthermore, it won't even stop at the train station.

Nice modern building. The airport authority requires a card that you get at check in for fast track. This is so stupid because when you want to go fast and are a frequent traveller you already have your boarding pass and don't go at the counter. Many shops and restaurants, nive views over the apron. The lounge used by Air France and many airlines is nice but the food tends not to be often replaced.
