Many shops and dining options at Schipol Airport. No need to take a train between terminals as all concourses/piers are under the same roof.

Every concourse under one roof. Convenient to move between piers. Many dining options and a couple of tulip/flower shops too. The KLM Crown Lounge is outstanding as well. Schiphol is an excellent airports to fly to/from.

Awesome spotting area! BA lounge is great with very good views too! Landing on 18R will result in the perfect tour of EHAM! Plenty to see.

The mixed arr/dep pax areas are good too.

The airport is old, immigration is not efficient at all, lounge?s quality is just so so, no shower facilities for international departure

3 stars for bag claim due to long wait although our bag was one of the first. And as always on Schiphol, the shorter the flight, the longer the taxien.

Smart airport. However, it's about time authorities need to do some work on renovation. Aspire 41 lounge is in a bad shape. Gate 9 (terminal 3) business class sitting area seats are torn!

10 years back the one terminal concept was fine, bit now you have to walk absurd distances... It is to crowded, big parts are older and have low ceilings. Ample seating space at gates, often start-up delays and where is the really good healthy food options with descent seating?

In 40 minutes connections is easier that they don't load your baggage on the next flight.
Great staff at the immigration: they let you skip the queue if you have tight connections.

Only two passport control counters were open after B767 arrival, so the lines were pretty long. Automatic gates were closed.

Very overcrowded. Nearly nothing working as it should in Pier B. Crazy long taxi times to/from the runway (nearly 20-30 minutes). Toilets not very clean.

We couldn't go to the plane because there where not enough busses available. When we looked out of the window we saw two busses standing, the drivers where just talking with eachother. This was one of the reasons the plane was almost half an hour delayed.

Like walking through a working site. Aggressive personell operating the assistance-cars and not stopping for anyone. Loud employees shouting to eachother in restaurants.

AMS is very good for a mega-terminal, much better than say Dubai. Security check uses the latest kit, you can take liquids through which they scan separately and everything stays inside the bag unlike Manchester where virtually everything comes out.

I found Schiphol a very easy airport to navigate. Check-in was fuss-free and easy, and, while I was expecting the airport to be very crowded due to Amsterdam's popularity, we weren't held up at all and breezed through with no problems. However, we may have caught it at a less crowded time and I can't speak for busier days!

One of my favorite airports, maybe the best I know in Europe. Whether you travel business and access to the lounge, or you just have to wait in the airport, there are plenty of services, for food, shopping, relaxing, wandering around.

Baggage belts are slooow, no improvement from a year ago and done two trips this year.
Immigration takes an age if you can't use the auto machines.

AMS is one of the best in Europe and the best of the big airports. Nice and spacious, free wi-fi isn't a data mining exercise in disguise. Only complaint is the food is a total rip-off price wise and not that much variety airside, far better in Schiphol Plaza.
Loads of clean toilets and water fountains (are you listening Manchester).
Superb train connections and easy to find hotel transfer buses.

Nearly everything was closed at around 22:00.
Can?t say much more and therefore can?t decide on how many stars by lack of not having to any of it.
Only had hand luggage with me and flew between two Schengen countries.

Crowded hub. Very modern and clean airport, but service is way behind other European hubs. Security checks are slow and long ques at passport control. Prices of food and drinks are exceptional. I can only give it 2 stars.

Gate is announced pretty late for EZY flights, but there is a site (schiphol.dutchplanespotters.nl) where the assigned gate is already known during the flight. I recommend checking that so you know your gate in advance and you can be in front of the row

A great airport for transfer with many UK and European connections to destinations all over the world. Although it may take a minute to work out where you want to go, this place boasts great shopping facilities and even a roof terrace for plane spotters, complete with its own aircraft. One of the best places in Europe to fly around the world.

Was waiting for my connecting flight on the B Gates for about 2 hours , the place was boiling hot , don?t know what the are doing with the A/C. Also B Gates in serious need of seating benches with USB to charge our phones , the space you currently have is for 10-15 people charging their phones in a place with 36 Gates is absolutely not enough

What can I say? Nice Airport. Security staff can be a bit arrogant and unfriendly.

Food and coffee are overpriced. But that is what you can expect at an Airport
