Very Basic

I flew with Onur air to the new 'up and coming' tourist area of northern Cyprus. All flights to this destination went via turkey. We stopped in Dalaman for 50 minutes to refuel. I would recommend to eat before the flight as the food was very basic salads and light foods not filling and extremely cold. The plane was very basic and staff very laid back. The flight was comfortable enough and was value for money. The most annoying aspect of the flight was that all the announcements were in Turkish before they English as there were no Turkish people on the flight all English tourists. Overall a comfortable flight and had surprisingly good leg room. We took off on time and sometimes even earlier which is always a bonus!

A delay of 11 hours!! My goodness!! Does anybody have experience about the chance to get compensation from the air carrier? Had to sleep one extra night at a hotel and so on. The result was extra costs for 450 euros!

good service althogh an hour late, probably not the airlines fault, but staff seemed stressed and tired because of delay, (in comparison to the return journey) but this is understandable at that time in the morning!
