Kyiv Boryspil is Ukraine?s biggest airport. It is quite easy to get to it, via SkyBus or Boryspil Express. There is a fast WiFi connection in the Terminal D.

Nice airport overall, great facilities, and even a playground in the lounge.
Complaints: Announcements are very annoying and constant.
Smokers lounge not ventilated, it is a nightmare inside, like they want to punish smokers on purpose.
I also didn't like the culture of waiters asking for tips (they tell you tips are not included in the price and ask you to make a separate CC transaction for the tip.
Waiters should be well paid, and not be made to beg, it's bad for them and annoying for the customer.

Tiny airport in Kharkiv. Security and border control very quick. Very few facilities available but it could be worse. When getting a taxi use a booth rather than the touts.

Only two stars from me based on the little I saw of it flying in as an arriving passenger and the experience. When I left I flew out of Zhuliany, so did not experience departures from Borispol. First experience was on the ground and the air bridge failed, so had an extended wait while mobile steps were put in place. At baggage claim something happened but two planes that came in after us had their bags come out and our plane was left waiting for about 30 minutes until bags started coming out. Immigration was the highlight though, very friendly, asked what I was doing in Ukraine and how long, then said welcome and also great to get a stamp in a passport still!

during my visit, there was some problems with computers and just at the airport but in all Ukraine. ATM not workings, credit/debit cards not working, when wanted to purchase anything .. pretty bad luck. Later on I heard that it was result of some computer virus ..

Average airport, not many places for food, and lounge is pretty bad with rude staff and bad food. Wifi is really good and security tends to be fast. Check is is normal and there's nothing wrong with it.

Good Airport, airport is not very busy around 5pm. WiFi worked amazing, very limited restaurants in the terminal.

Do not, I repeat do not go for the Visa on Arrival option, even if you are eligible.
I arrived only to find that the visa office was closed. The immigration staff did not want to know about it.
When the officer did arrive there was one of him for 40 or so of us. Any form filled out before arrival was not used and we had to line up to use three computers and re-enter all of our data. The printer didn't work so we could not print out our forms. A USB stick sorted that out after a couple of hours.
All up, I got my visa, but it was a 6 hour process. There is no food or drink available in that part of the airport so that was another problem.
On the plus side, the single visa officer did an amazing job under very difficult circumstances using a system that had clearly failed him.

BA Lounge is a shared lounge but quite comfortable. Limited supply of food, although they have soup and a couple of hot dishes.

Don't take a taxi in front of airport - you'll be tripple-priced. Better order one via Uber or Uklon.

Food is increadibly expensive. Getting to the airport is also prolematic due to distance between Kyiv and the airport. Taxi rates are very high.

Probably the most awfull airport I know. Even worse than CDG. I always fo my best to avoid KBP but today I couldn't.

This time all was perfect (maybe the arrival time is a reason): immigration - 1 min, baggage claim - 5 mins, wifi was working perfect. Getting to the city is still an issue (with the bus or taxi).

Overall it is not bad airport for Kiev, but a little bit empty at arrival zone. The departure zone is friendly, however the prices at DutyFree are sometimes higher, then in Europe! Wish you a good flight!

Now with new D terminal in service everything is much better than few years ago. The terminal is half empty, there is lots of space, almost no queues. Public bus service has also improved with the stop just opposite the exit and with frequent service to city center

Been here many times. Classic example of a bad airport. I absolutely hate the new D terminal. Long lines (baggage drop... security... passport control...). Unfriendly and icecold staff everywhere. No restaurants or bars after check in. Overpriced taxfree. Crazy and unnecessary bus transfers between D terminal and planes (usually takes many minutes). Flights often delayed without any given reason. No service whatsoever at domestic side. Bad (but free) wifi. Overpriced taxi to city centre.

KBP airport... For the Euro-Championship it was definitly reconstructed. A new terminal was build. I was there in 2010, before Euro 2012. Thatswhy I can't say something about it. But it is in my country and I can't give a mark lower than 5!

Very fast and easy check-in. WiFi is working but you should update every 30-40 minutes.
Stuff are nice and polite.
There was an promotion from KLM and all travelers could write their emails and chose where they would like to fly in future.

First time here, modern terminal, not over crowded, usual facilities. X-ray scan as you enter building and again after check-in. Quiet. Surprisingly few police or soldiers. Staff friendly, including passport control and security. They are building a new terminal, although this one does not seem to have reached capacity yet. Only downside Wi -Fi very slow, I gave up, Duty Free all in Euros, but little in the way of local souvenirs.A bit pricey for drinks, but thats true elsewhere. Nice view of the runway in the waiting lounge.

Terrible airport! Very dirty, noisy and overpriced. Stuff is absolutely insufficient. Duty free is overpriced and poor. Not enough place for passengers . Border control stuff is very lazy and unmotivated.

The airport is just OK, but the main airport of a country should be waaaay better. The most annoying things are illegal taxi drivers, which harass arriving passengers (just ignore them or bargain hard to get a reasonable price), and absolutely insane prices on food and drinks. Sometimes long queues on the passport control.

The new airport, conveniently and quickly. In the area of domestic departure there is no cafe, only water from the cooler. The domestic boarding by bus. There is no alternative how to get to and from the airport.

The so-called 'free wifi' allows you access to the airport's site only.

Minor international airport. Immigration information was lacking, there were forms to fill out, but apparently it wasn't necessary for everyone to do so.

Good new terminal D. Sometimes there might be significant queue on the customs control. There's no railway transfer to the city, only bus. But taxi is very cheap, it is about $20 to get in any part of Kiev.

Had a few flights arriving to/ departing from terminal D. The terminal looks new and modern. There is a 24/7 shuttle service that connects the airport with the downtown Kiev - the one-way ride ticket costs 50 UAH (~ $5)

- Very expensive water in the airport, it's even cheaper to buy water in the aircraft than in the airport. No working internet. The is Wi-fi but it's very poor and your to get somewhere a password of access to the internet. Food - just fat fast-food, also very expensive.
+ The airport's building is new, modern and very clean. The sittings are very comfortable. It's very easy to get to the airport because of close appearance to the Kiev city. The personal is very polite and self-organized and always ready to help to every passenger in every situation. Check-in/baggage check process is quick and professional.

Borsipol-D doesn't have any restaurant in the Duty-Free zone. The only cafe doesn't have tables and seats to eat. And WiFi works very badly here.

Toilets were surprisingly clean. Airport in good state. Unfortunately the was sometimes quite rude. There weren't many shops and if you have to wait a longer time it can be boring there. Long queues at the security checks.

Transit was a chaos on both ways. Only one x-ray machine and a huge line with no discipline. One can spend hours in that line listening to rude comments from airport workers.
