The most beautiful regional airport of Thailand

Very near Chiang Mai downtown. Small airport but have all facilities. The combination of Modern white and Northern culture style is great!

If you plan to spot plane in this airport you will disappointed because window. But if you in departure, you should go down to bus gate (Gate 13-14) window is very clean and easier to spot plane than Gate 1-8.

A small but very nice airport just some 20 minutes drive from the ancient city center. Nice services, polite and helpful staff. A lot of souvenirs Made in Thailand shops, not very expensive. Clean and cosy.

He terminal has got an interesting architecture.

Airport is very close to the city centre. Only a 10-15 minute taxi ride away. The dedicated taxi stand near arrivals provide a guaranteed reasonable fare to city destination.
WIFI was problematic. I gave up after a few minutes trying to log in. Provider claimed I already had an account but even after keying in the username and password they provided I still got a bad request.
More food options before immigration, including on the second floor.

The airport is very close to the city, so easy to access. The terminal is good, convenient and clean, and have some restaurant and cafes. However, they tend to ignore priorities in the baggage claim process.
