Started in 1988, Asiana Airlines is the number two national air carrier in South Korea. The company’s headquarter is situated in Seoul. By 2020, the Korean airline boasted a 19% share of the domestic market as well as a 16% share of the international one.

The major hubs are represented by Gimhae International Airport, Incheon International Airport, and Gimpo International Airport.

Being a member of Star Alliance, the company offers up to 14 domestic as well as 90 international passenger routes. In addition to this, 27 cargo routes are available across Oceania, North America, Europe, Asia.

The estimated number of employees accounts for 10,183. The vast majority of the company’s flight attendants, ground staff, and pilots are based in Seoul.

Besides this, Asiana Airlines happens to be the leading shareholder in Air Busan, which is a low-cost regional airline. The air carrier also boasts a 100% share of Air Seoul – a subsidiary as well as its own low-cost airline.

2 times delayed due to connection issue. Flight is too old, service is so so. I am a regular customer though, I'm thinking to change my main airline.

Nice flight through the night. I was booked in Business, so we got some food. Appreciated that there was the Korean option with just a quick and light meal.
The Airbus A321 used on this route featured comfortable seats with some recline, good for a short nap.
