Nice experience, among the few airlines that still offer complimentary drink service in Economy Class, flight ZRH-VIE in evening featured small cheese sandwich, as always LX hands out their iconic small bars of chocolate

How the mighty have fallen. Swiss used to be a good airline but not any more. Flight was late, boarding was chaos as was disembarkation. My vegetarian meal was a plate of couscous which had been dyed red and tasted of nothing. It was accompanied by two equally tasteless pieces of what I think was meant to be cheese.

The equipment was horrible. The ECO seats are very uncomfortable and my seat did some kind of creaking by every single move i did to maintain some kind of comfort which was unreachable. btw, while eating you always need a hand to hold yout tablet, otherwise it slides down the very small and narrow table.

start was delayed, crew inform us that it is becouse of closing zurich airport (bad weather). It was lie. At zurich we were informed that everthing was working fine. At flight radar we also noticed that planes started and lended as ussualy. The do everthing to avoid claims for late flight

Fantastic airline, always punctual and friendly. Nice interior and comfy seats with lots of legroom. Friendly staff and crew. Free food and drink service on short-haul, which for Swiss people will make them feel right at home on-board. Theres even a free Swiss Chocolate as well, which shows the extra touches that you look for in an airline and makes you proud to have it as your nations carrier.

I had to run through the airport to catch my connection as arriving flight from Barcelona was delayed. Swiss left my luggage at Zurich and say You arrive to your home country so you can bridge these 2 days at -5 degrees Celsius until your suitcase arrives without buying any cloths
After 2 days my suitcase arrived destroyed, unfixable!

Service on Swiss is slowly deteriorating to the level of LCCs, except there's no option to pay your way out of the misery. The airline seems to be coasting on its brand alone, but service isn't great. Also, if you're going to skimp on in-flight snacks, at least give me another option to get some decent food.

Baggage isn't Swiss' strong suit: checked bag fees mean that people bring bulky carry-ons on board with no real size or quantity enforcement. Overhead bins are not reserved for passengers in exit rows, which often leads to people and their belongings being separated halfway through the plane.

Specific comments to my flight LX093 from GRU to ZRH on 14.08.2018:
Bad experience due to high temperature inside the airplane throughout the flight. In spite of having a good seat in Economy Class (23C - exit row), I could not sleep during the whole trip, arriving completely exhausted. I am a quite frequent traveler and since long time I did not have such uncomfortable cabin.
My separate comment about Swiss 777-300ER also describes the cheap configuration Swiss has chosen for this aircraft. And they do not charge cheap for the tickets.

I give now 4 stars to SWISS instead of 5 stars, after flying the Boeing 777-300ER in Economy Class.
In spite of being a quite new aircraft, the configuration chosen by SWISS is quite packed (3-4-3) and does not reflect the Swiss Made or Swiss Quality feeling that one would expect.
Other than that, in-flight services, entertainment and flight attendants are great.

Swiss air amazes me with its service for economy class. Even for us in economy, we have a small lounge! Where we can chat and have snack. Granted there can only be maximum of 5 people at the same time. But still. But their flight attendant is sometime quite rude.

Very nice crew on this flight. Beside the personal greeting by the purser during boarding, she came along shortly after departure, greeting each passenger personally and asking about wellbeing.
Flight was nice and food was tasty. They had some special seasonal Swiss beer aboard which tasted nice in the air.

What a joke. Paid for 12C, an aisle seat, but was assigned 14B, a middle seat due to an aircraft swap. Not offered a choice for new seat at all. My original seat (as with 7 other rows) was kept empty in the business class section. Won't be rushing to fly them again.

The airline needed to check my bag at the gate even though it was supposed to be a carry-on sized bag. (Which was my error, I guess? Although, I didn't have that problem with any of my other flights on the way to or coming back from Oslo.) They didn't have a place to take it or put it, so it was left sitting unattended next to the door to the airplane. When I reached Oslo from Zurich, my bag was nowhere to be found. I stood there for about 20 minutes while a worker near the plane made calls and walked around the area asking people what to do. None of them knew. I was told to look for my suitcase in the baggage claim area, but they had one area for my flight's pre-checked baggage, and another for oversized baggage. I wasn't sure where mine would end up, so after waiting and worrying I'd miss my train, I asked a woman at the counter. She was very kind and helped locate my bag in the system, then directed me to where I needed to wait for my bag. Luckily, my bag came just in time, way after everyone else's. Two more minutes and I could've been stranded for hours and down 40 bucks so I could get a new train ticket.

The flight itself was fine, but baggage was a huge mess. People were kind and tried to help me, which made everything much better, but the confusion in the first place made it all really stressful.

On this flight me and some other passengers mildwed croissants were served for breakfast. Absolutely discusting! The maitre de cabine, who I do not blame like he rest of the cabine crew, apologised with a bottle of wine from the business class. However, I wonder how this can happen to a full cost airline while this has never ever happened to any of the low cost airlines or no-names I have been flying with on more than 1200 flights during the past 20 years. I am absolutlely disappointed.
