Very long queue at the security checks on a Wednesday morning. Overpriced bus from Bologna Central station to reach the airport.
Quite good range of shops and decent Wi-Fi connection. Beware the lack of seating in the Schengen area

The terminal has been recently renewed and is now full of shops. The usual problems remain, though: lack of seating in the departure area, extremely dirty and partly not working airside toilets, long waiting times for security. On the other hand baggage reclaim and immigration checks are relatively fast compared to other Italian airports.

Pretty swell regional airport.
Surprisingly better than most European airports of this size.
Baggage claim and customs was very fast.
The lounge is decent, with an awesome feature: you can access directly from the lounge to a dedicated priority security lane, which is really fast.
