I flew Virgin Australia en route Perth - Sydney on a large Airbus A330. For a low cost carrier, very good service. There were monitors in the chairs. Takeoff and landing were accurate.

VA is a great airline. We flew VA144. Check in was a bit bad but isn't it always. Boarding is good. They board disabled then business and loyal passengers, then rows 15 back finally 14 forward or something like that. The food is amazing for an airline. Inflight entertainment is not a thing unless you download an app or software on your phone/tablet/laptop and the only reason why you will use the WiFi is to get the movies

For the price you are better off flying with better airlines. Service was substandard and entertainment options non-existent.
